Dilbert is a truly unique comic strip, showing the humourous side of the work place, even if you're an engineer. Adams' irony, satire and sarcasm is one reason why Dilbert is extremely popular in the US, and is becoming increasingly more popular in Britain with comic books of Dilbert.
The strips are mostly in Dilberts work place - large floors seperated by cheap cubicles to avoid distraction from their jobs of engineering for a large software company. Dilberts humourous work mates include slacker, Wally, and short-tempered Alice, aswell as their slow witted Boss.
And there is, of course, Dilberts faithful companion, Dogbert.
Dilbert has also been turned into an animated cartoon, which I have not yet witnessed for myself!
